Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Kid Klimber™ unique?
The shape of the product and the materials we use make our climbers unique. First of all, we designed a special hub to hold the struts together that provides extra strength and rigidity. No other manufacturer uses our patented hubs. Our products are based on the proven strength and durability of the geodesic design. We use only high-grade industrial materials and paints for long life and durability. Finally, we are so confident in the durability of our products, that we provide a free-replacement warranty on all parts. If a part fails under normal use, we'll replace it
We perform a
rigorous quality control check of each component and reject those that do not
meet our standards of consistency and quality. Our final quality check point occurs when we pack a kit for shipment. We double
check that each package we ship contains the correct quantity and size of
struts, the correct number and size of hubs, the correct number of bolts and
nuts needed to assemble the climber and a copy of the fully illustrated
assembly manual.
What tools are needed to assemble a Kid Klimber™ and how long will assembly take?
We recommend a
7/16” socket or nut-driver for assembly. You may want to use a
measuring tape to define the 8- or 12-foot area where the climber will be
placed. Because the materials are PVC –except for the nuts and
bolts- completed climbers are not particularly heavy and they can be moved by
2-3 people.
Assembly of an
8-foot Kid Klimber™ takes about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. The 12-foot
will take about 2-3 hours. The assembly manual (included) contains step-by-step
instructions with photos that show what the structure looks like at each step.

new component to you!
What size are the Kid Klimber™ ?
A large is 12-feet
in diameter and stands approximately 6 feet at the center. A small is 8 feet in
diameter and is approximately 4 feet tall at the center.
How much do the complete Kid Klimber™ kits weigh?
A complete kit for a large climber ships in two packages and
weighs 123 pounds. The small weighs 62 pounds.
Can you give me an estimate on shipping cost and how long it will
take to get a climber?
We are currently delivering climbers to UPS on the day we
run a credit card. Shipping time varies by destination. As a point of reference, shipping time to CA
is about 3 business days at a cost of $40 for a small and $73 for a large.
How long have you been in business?
We formed Zia Toys on
November 15, 2006 and registered with the NM State Public Regulation Commission
on that date. The company was formed to manufacture and sell user-friendly,
lightweight, PVC-based climbers for kids with the proven strength of
the geodesic design. That is Zia's sole mission.
Are you affiliated in any way with any
other firm offering similar products?
No. We are
family-owned and operated and have no affiliation with any firm offering
similar products. We hold a patent on
the unique hubs that hold our climbers together.
